The Portuguese ESWC qualifier has come to an end, Defining Stars once again shows their superiority over other Portuguese teams when taking the first place over Madjick, granting them the trip to Paris.

With the absence of most of the Portuguese top teams partially because of the location of the tournament and its structure (BYOC), the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament only had 6 teams. In the end it would only come down to defs and madjick to battle for the spot.

After a dissapointing EPT Summer cup, where the team failed to reach the final, Madjick this time had no trouble in reaching the final, as most of the teams present at the qualifier didn't offered a real challenge for both Madjick and defs.

Starting of as Terrorists on de_train, defs would get a massive advantage as by ending of the first half the score was 12-3 for the team, switching to the Counter-Terrorist side, defs would lose the pistol round, but after winining an eco round they would get back on track finishing off the map with the score of 16-6.

de_nuke was the map that followed, with madjick starting on the T side, they would need a lot of teamwork to penetrate defs defense, unfortunately round after round and it became evident that madjick weren't ready for coordination shown by their oponents, as at the half time the score was 11-4 defs.

When switching to the CT side, madjick would gain momentum by winning the pistol round and some clutches rounds, but several mistakes teamwork wise would seal the score of 16-9 for defs.

With this win Defining Stars secured a spot at ESWC with all expenses payed for the French event which will take place in Paris, October 21-25.
